The registry containing the official information on registered ballot boxes for the 2026 Local Council and Women’s Development Committee Elections and Public Referendum of the Republic of Maldives, scheduled to be held on 4 April 2026, has now been officially released.

 

Following the release of this registry, the opportunity has been opened for the submission of any issues or concerns related to the registered ballot boxes. Submissions will be accepted from 3 March 2026 at 10:00 hours until 4 March 2026 at 13:30 hours.

 

Individuals wishing to submit any issue or concern regarding the registered ballot boxes are advised to do so within the specified period through the Elections Commission’s My Portal at my.elections.gov.mv.

 

Information regarding the registered ballot box can be checked by sending an SMS to 1414 in the following format: VR (space) NID. The information can also be accessed through the Elections Commission’s Registration Portal at pprvr.elections.gov.mv.
